Cells Gone Wild

Okay I am super embarrassed that I haven't posted video since August but you guys know we are moving and have been trying to move for a year. And because we are moving I have to get better about making time to post. Here is a video of Sincere from a while ago but I thought it would be a good video to post as I get back in the swing of things.

This video is of Sincere taking passionately about cells and the body. Also this video shows his "art" skills.

Enjoy!

My Masterpiece

I always thought Sincere wasn't into art. He gets bored easily with coloring, his idea of painting is rubbing paint on the paper and he has broken almost every marker I bought him by coloring too hard in a circle. Picasso he is not.

Well I guess I was looking at it all the wrong way. Sincere is into art just his own style. He seems to combine performance art, mixed media art and multi-media art to form his "masterpieces." LOL!

Here is a video of one of the master at work. Also some pictures of work he created during a time in his work he likes to call the Bug Period. And also a picture of how he continues to press the boundaries on what is and isn't art with a piece he calls "Fuzzies on Crumby." Enjoy.

Early Algebra

I finally am getting around to posting this video of Sincere doing algebra. Well its early algebra but I still am proud of my little guy. I added the extra step in for him to work on writing his numbers. He started doing early algebra (what he calls Mystery X Math) a couple months ago. If you catch him in the right mood he will actually explain the steps for you. We aren't using finger counting to do math right now just because I want him to be able to show his work. So even if we are working with addition or subtraction I had him draw it out since I think that will be a good skill once he gets into elementary school.

Its a super long video so feel free to skip parts. Its so long my battery light was flashing. LOL!

Enjoy.

Singing in Spanish

Sincere's favorite song to sing is the Thomas Theme Song. He could happily sing that all day long as long as you don't try to join him. He is a solo act and he isn't looking to join a group.

They sing at school so now Sincere has at least 10 Spanish songs he can sing. Half the time I don't know what the words mean but I can usually pick out words like "casa" "hola" "nino" but that's about it. LOL!

This video was from about the first week of April but since I haven't posted (or videotaped much) in a LONG time and I don't want to abandon the blog I decided to post it. Sincere has a couple cool tricks that I have been wanting to capture once things stop being so CRAZY over here.

In the meantime enjoy the stylings of Sincere One. Funny parts to watch for- him telling me to open my eyes because I was super tired, him telling how to clap for him and all of his lovely show stealing high notes. What? I have to teach the kid some showmanship. :)

Orange Big Nickels

I know its been forever since I have posted a video of Sincere. He is still is doing things that crack me up and amaze me but its been HECTIC over here. Just when you think it couldn't get anymore crazy it does. But I figured I better get back in the habit of posting videos or I might never do it. :)

This is an older video from a couple months ago. We have a bowl of oranges in the office and one day Sincere decided to create his own set of "Orange big nickels." And by nickles he means nipples. No matter how many times I correct him he is intent on calling nipples "nickels."

This had me cracking up so I thought I would share. Enjoy.

Telling Tall Tales

Sincere has been telling tall tales (Attention Tales) for a while. He makes up these wild tales of being hurt by whatever name I throw out there. Daddy, Grandma, my friend he hasn't seen in 5 months. Here is a video from a two months ago when he spun a tale about daddy hurting him. I have no idea where he gets the material for these stories from. Does Max and Ruby have subliminal messages? LOL!

We love his imagination over at our house but it got mommy in some trouble the other day. I got called into the director of his preschools office. Seems that he has been telling tales of me hurting him at school. I cleared it up but I doubt they believe me. I had to have the "Sincere don't tell tales if people don't know your playing" conversations.

In the video he is Clovey the cat. Note the purr at the end of the video. Cracks me up every time.

Sincere's Take on Shakespeare

Sincere loves to be the star of the show. You can say the word "Camera" and he will stop and pose. He pretends to be on stages all the time. He has learned how to sing the last note of each song high so he can get a solo. LOL! He also is into creating and acting out plays. The other night he created a play with his trains and I told him about Shakespeare. I had to grab the camera because his little mini plays were cute. He ended up cracking me up with his take on Shakespeare. Enjoy!
